Administrator permissions aren't required to install the Teams client on Windows PCs but are required on Macs.

A window will pop up telling to it is installing Microsoft Teams.The new Microsoft Teams desktop client is available in preview. Accept any notifications/windows that appear. It may take a few seconds, but it will ask you to download the installer
You may see a screen asking you to install the app - ignore this, at the bottom of the message there is an option to "Continue to web app" - choose thatĪccessing Teams from a Windows PC, Laptop or Mac. You will see a list of tiles at the top, click on the one called Teams. Enter your e-mail address and password, some of you may know this as your "Outlook" password.
